I know there are absolutely no excuses for me not updating the blog, but actually I have been living without the Internet for over 3 months. How about that Robinson?
Well, it's back on. And I've surely missed it.
Some pics bellow are presented to show what I've been up to.

Fishy fishy!
Went to see a hurling game. Fastest game on a grass field
The foam of River Lee reminds me slightly of a pint of Murphy's

The decline and fall of the Roman Cork Empire
When speaking of decline and fall. Saturday night was a cinema night, to be more precise - "Haywire." What a kick-ass movie! Steven Soderbergh actually made it only for the lead actress (well for some cash dollars too), who happens to be a champion of mixed martial arts.Gina Carano as Mallory Kane, is a thick skinned lady. She swiped and fought men like Antonio Banderas, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum and Ewan McGregor, and of course - won them all. Personally, I liked the authentic approach most of all. Gina showed the audience how a real woman fights, and looks for that matter. Her thighs and shoulders are as muscular as they should be if you're world champion of MMA. No skinny models could ever do the things she did. Gina is a living Modesty Blaise. Hell yeah!

Houses on the hill always remind me of Harry Potter
Less ordinary? Seriously? I mean really?

I strongly disapprove. Freedom of speech my ass, go and get a job
These poor bastards have been living in tents for the last 99 days. And for what? For the sake of protest against world economy, politics, abuse? Please, enough already. They can't make the world a better place simply by living in tents, begging money for food and by the unselfish act for the sake of others less privileged. Bullshit. They chuckle every time they feel the fake complaisance.
Royal Blue or Electric as we know it
In the middle of winters second month, January, the weather is sunny, warm and windy. It's pretty much as the beginning of spring season in the Nordics. It's no doubt my warmest winter so far. Ladies still wear ballerinas and no stockings whatsoever. Have to admit, though I miss snow, this is not to bad.
My bridge-crossing view got less breathtaking since my move from Budapest
My Sunday is so far quite pleasant. Waking up before the others, I enjoyed oatmeal porridge of my special recipe, compulsory berocca and coffee. Refilled by energy, I went for a long walk, taking snapshots of everything and nothing. Feeling slightly asocial, I sneaked out to Nosh for lunch and free wi-fi. Sunday is all about doing things you like.
We finally got the Internet connection installed. The modem should be delivered on Tuesday. And then, my friends, I'll be returning to year 2012.
The local pub - Sober lane
Three monkeys are just around the corner. Small from outside and surprisingly ample inside. And the beer serving cutie is a definite plus.
Today the presidential election is held in Finland. I feel like a disloyal patriot for not being able to vote. I would have to go to Dublin for that, and unfortunately I miscalculated the Dublin trip by one week. I'm actually going next weekend but then it's too late. However, my vote goes to the one and only - Sauli Niinistö.
This afternoon I had finally time to drag my ass to a nice coffee shop for some caffeine and wi-fi.
So how have you been?
Hopefully your New Year started as marvelously as mine.
Some pics from the magical evening...

We live safely behind locked gate
So to keep long story short,
I have been very, very busy lately.
Feeling rather irritated because of the lack of time for social media.
Though I have totally plausible reason for that.
The reason is WORK.
Thank you my precious Julie for sending me Fazer chocolate. You have no idea how happy that beautiful blue color and its content made me. And just for the record, I find it rather rude and ungrateful NOT thanking for sending a Christmas card or a letter. It is unbelievably easy to write a simple Thank you...So you, my dear sir, may consider yourself as ancient history. End of story.
I have a new hobby. Pole dancing. After each class, I feel like my body parts are falling off. Specially my arms. Still, I find the pain very acceptable and I am loving it, the dance I mean. Best exercise ever, ever!!!
Christmas was spent quietly. Our third musketeer went abroad for the holiday, so myself and Mr Y stayed in Cork. Y was cooking Christmas Eve and I made a humble dinner on Christmas Day. Somewhere in between sleeping and eating, we managed to watch Nightmare before Christmas, From Hell and The ninth gate. Mmm, that Johnny is remarkable!
My Blackberry is broken. Which means, I am semi reachable on the phone. Additionally my laptop is sacking. And without Internet at home, it feels like 1995. I have to make arrangements face 2 face with people, where and when to meet. Grr.
Today I am suppose to go ice skating. Haven't done that for a while. Very intriguing indeed!
Well to summarize the past month - I have made new friends, found a new hobby, bought new shoes, yes more shoes, feeling happy living in the house with W and Y, I am actually liking my job never-minding the hectic rhythm, and I am very grateful towards my colleagues! Praise the Irish people, and all the other nationalities of course!
Bed & Breakfast establishment above is my current home for 2 weeks. My room is the smallest one I've ever seen. It's arctic cold but it has wireless and an enormous bed. For now I'm secured.
Christmas decorations
Waterfall in the backyard. What do you have in your backyard?
Holy Cow! Christmas decoration Art Deco style.
Seagulls. Millions of seagulls. It's like in Helsinki, except these ones don't snatch pizzas out of your hands, only fish&chips.
Sun doesn't only shine on TV, it DOES SHINE IN CORK TOO!!!
I adore the colorfulness in the city buildings. Otherwise, I guess, everything would be 100 different shades of Grey.
A little bit of nature too. And River Lee.
YELLOW!!!
Catching the LIGHT. The fluffy thing is Ireland's national flower ;)!
In between Modernism you can see a little bit of Gothic
Lovely colours once again. BTW, there's no zebras in the city. Good luck crossing the roads, never mind the reversed traffic. Which way to look first again?
I like the architectural construction of the house
More houses and River Lee. Just so you get the picture of the city.
Now, best for last. I have already been living in Cork for two weeks. Time simply flies. Today I became a legal alien. I finally received my social security number aka PPS number. This means I am entitled to receive salary, open a bank account, and I do officially exist on papers too. Hurray!
Work. Apple is treating me very well. Two weeks of head spinning practice, and I already got one t-shirt, one hoodie, a lot of free food and an addiction for Apple products. Hurray!
Pub life. I went on my own to a pub on Saturday night. After one pint of Bulmer's I was done, finished, kaput. Couldn't resist the thought of a whole night sleep. I admit I need more practice. I guess I will be getting a lot of it in the future. Hurray!
Can't wait to move in to the house on Mary Street. I'll be sharing a whole house with Wendy and Yann. The house contains of 3 separate bedrooms, 3 toilets, enormous kitchen, living room and a garden, not to forget the gate. How nice is that? NICE!!!! Hurray!
That's all for tonight folks!
Puss och Kram mina kära! Saknar många av er! Speciellt dig, dig och dig! Love, Jules
